Plastic Bottles

Put in Recycling Cart/Bin

Empty out plastic bottles before recycling.  This will prevent any liquids from contaminating the recycling process. No need to rinse further with water.

It’s OK to recycle caps and lids that are still attached to their original plastic containers.  Caps that are separate fall through the recycling equipment and end up in landfill.
